After working as a foreman for some of Sydney’s leading building and renovation companies (including Capital Building), Ian Redmond, the company director, felt he could offer more to the market. He subsequently founded Glenview Carpentry in 2008.

Ian has trained in all aspects of carpentry across a number of different markets. By studying methods used in the USA, Canada, Australia, Europe and New Zealand, Ian has been able to extract the best components of the techniques used around the world, to offer a unique approach to every project. This means that the optimum technique is used every time, often turning the impossible into reality.

Glenview Carpentry has become the company of choice for many large Sydney builders for their fix out work, renovations and restorations. We’re also frequently requested for the construction of unique, architecturally-designed or bespoke projects, such as the curved decking project recently completed in Sydney Olympic Park.
